Beach weekend

Our neighbors invited us for a weekend at a beach house and we said "of course!" Mariella had a great time playing in the sand.

Washington DC

For Labor Day weekend, we drove up to DC to see Wendy, Brian, Quin, and Leah. We walked along the mall, visited the Air and Space Museum, and the National Zoo. Mariella's favorite part was seeing the pandas and the elephant playing ball!

Our Summer

Sorry it has been so long since I updated the blog! To say that we have been busy is the truth but also my excuse for not getting pictures uploaded. We managed to hit a few museums this summer and a quick weekend to the Outer Banks for a wedding. Mariella was the flower girl and she did a wonderful job! We also went peach picking at an orchard about an hour from our house. Mariella loved the peaches but wasn't thrilled about picking them herself. She picked 3 peaches before announcing that it was too hot and she needed to sit in the car!
